Call for evidence: Careers guidance for young people follow-up

The Education Committee launches a follow-up to its inquiry into careers guidance for young people.
The Committee published a report on Careers guidance for young people: The impact of the new duty on schools in January 2013. A memorandum from the Department for Education on implementation of the Committee’s recommendations and developments since the report has been published on the Committee’s website.
Submissions of written evidence are invited on issues raised in the Committee’s report, the Government’s response (published by the Committee on 22 April 2013) and the latest DfE memorandum. The Committee will then hold a single evidence session in the autumn with the Secretary of State for Education.
In view of the nature of this short inquiry, the Committee asks for brief written submissions, addressing key points, to be submitted by Friday 19 September in accordance with the guidelines on the submission form, on the inquiry page.
