The Committee met on Monday 7 July at 4pm in Committee Room 4 and, after deliberating on further submissions in relation to the foreshore (and the riparian rights relating to it), the Committee made the following decision about the scope of their future consideration of the petitions against the Order:

"Our decision is that we should be able to hear evidence on all and only matters raised in the Petition for Amendment and the Petition of General Objection, excepting the provisions relating to the Railway which the Petitioner has indicated they are no longer pursuing."

The Committee will begin hearing evidence (in public) on Wednesday 15 October 2014 at 10:00. The proceedings will be webcast.
