The Environmental Audit Committee will hold its first public evidence hearing on National Pollinator Strategy at 2.15pm on Wednesday 18 June 2014 in Committee Room 5, Palace of Westminster

Purpose of session

The Environmental Audit Committee is taking evidence from representatives of Defra, pesticide manufacturers, farmers’ associations and NGOs as part of its inquiry into the draft National Pollinator Strategy. The Committee is focussing on pollinator research and protection measures featured in the draft NPS ahead of the release of its final version. The inquiry follows the EAC report on Pollinators and Pesticides, published in 2013.
