Purpose of session

The Environmental Audit Committee is taking evidence from representatives of NGOs and expert witnesses as part of its inquiry into action on air quality. This is a follow-up to the Committee’s inquiry on air quality in 2011 and will look at progress since then, including new scientific research, Government action, support for local authorities, evolving technology and scope for wider transport policies.
