Lenny Henry to discuss diversity in television

On Tuesday 24 June, the Culture, Media and Sport Committee will continue its inquiry into the future of the BBC. The Committee will take evidence from Lenny Henry and others to examine his proposal to increase the number of black, Asian and minority ethnic people in the television industry and to consider the BBC’s performance in serving audiences. 

Witnesses will be as follows:

  • John F. Smith, General Secretary, Musicians’ Union

The Committee’s next session on the BBC is expected to be on 2 July with Ofcom and the National Audit Office.
