Northern Ireland Affairs Committee queries Gerry Kelly's "on-the-runs" evidence
17 June 2014
The Chairman of Parliament’s Northern Ireland Affairs Committee has today written to Gerry Kelly MLA questioning his decision not to attend the Committee’s inquiry into the administrative scheme for “on-the-runs”, and refuting some of the assertions made in Mr Kelly and Sinn Fein’s written evidence to the inquiry last week. Mr Kelly played an important role in the negotiations that led to the Belfast / Good Friday Agreement and the development of the administrative scheme.
