Business and art representatives questioned on international representation of Wales

The Welsh Affairs Committee will hold its fourth public evidence session on the International Representation and Promotion of Wales by UK bodies on Thursday 26 June.

The Committee will hear from three panels of witnesses. The first panel will feature representatives from the Welsh business community, Michael Carrick, CEO of Aventa Capital Partners Ltd, and Huw Roberts, Chairman, Institute of Directors Wales, and will examine the promotion of Wales as a destination for inward investment.
The second and third panels will feature representatives from a number of arts and cultural organisations, including the Welsh National Opera, the Arts Council of Wales, and Amgueddfa Cymru. The Committee will explore how Wales’s culture is promoted overseas and examine the role of UK bodies and the Welsh Government in promoting Wales internationally.
