Committee to publish report on reforms to housing costs

The Work and Pensions Select Committee will publish its report, Support for housing costs in the reformed welfare system, at 00.01 am on Wednesday 2 April. It will be available under embargo to the media and those who gave written and oral evidence only on the morning of Tuesday 1 April

  • the impact of recent reforms to housing costs support
  • the social sector size criteria (also referred to as the "removal of the spare room subsidy" or "bedroom tax")
  • the household Benefit Cap
  • changes to Housing Benefit for claimants in the private rented sector (Local Housing Allowance)
