Committee agrees its Report

The Select Committee on the Inquiries Act 2005 has agreed its Report, and publication details have been finalised
The Committee was investigating whether the Act is an adequate framework for public inquiries which are fit for purpose, cost-effective and command public confidence.
The Committee’s report, The Inquiries Act 2005: post-legislative scrutiny (HL 143), was agreed by the Committee on the 26 February 2014.
It will be published on the 11 March 2014, when it will be available in electronic form, on our website.
From the 11 March 2014, paper copies will be available to purchase from TSO.
