The Committee has adopted the practice of following up previous inquiries a year after the publication of the report. In this case, the Committee requested a memorandum from the DfE, which it received on 27 January 2014, and a further paper giving more detail on the appointment of non-executive board members and staff morale, which it received on 14 March.
