- Private sector approaches to: fraud and error risk management; establishing appropriate benchmarks; and prosecution of fraud cases;
- Tackling online fraud and error and harnessing new technologies; and
- Opportunities for, and barriers to, increased sharing of public and private sector data, to help prevent and detect fraud and error and collect debt.
The final session
One further evidence session has been provisionally scheduled for 4.30pm on Monday 7 April, taking evidence from Lord Freud, DWP Minister for Welfare Reform and Mr David Gauke MP, Exchequer Secretary to the Treasury and departmental Minister for HMRC, and officials.
The Committee issued terms of reference for this inquiry on 23 January 2014.
