Purpose of the session
This is the first evidence session into the Committee’s inquiry on DFID’s programmes in Sierra Leone and Liberia. The first panel will give Members the chance to explore governance issues with experts on the region - such as the progress on post conflict reconstruction and tackling corruption. The second panel is with NGOs who work in Sierra Leone and Liberia to discuss their DFID funded programmes. There will be a particular focus on health and women and girls.
