On 28 October 2014, the Standing Orders Committee reported its decision on the referral made by the Examiners of the Petition for Additional Provision deposited in relation to the High Speed Rail (London - West Midlands) Bill.
The Committee decided that Standing Orders dispensation should be conditional on an extension of the petitioning period against amendments included in the Petition for Additional Provision for residents of those parishes affected by the Promoters’ non-compliance with Standing Order 10A.
