The Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Committee will take evidence in connection with Defra’s Annual Report and Accounts 2013–14 for its Inquiry into Defra performance in 2013–14 on Wednesday 19 and Wednesday 26 November 2014.

This is the first session of the Defra performance in 2013–14 inquiry. It aims to examine the administration and operation of the Department, including spending and budget cuts, the staff survey results and the Department’s major projects.

The second evidence session aims to examine the strategic direction, policy and priorities of the Department, including recent developments on CAP implementation, flood risk management, bovine TB, marine conservation and biodiversity offsetting.

The meetings will take place in a committee room in the House of Commons. Visitors should check the exact location nearer the time on the Committee’s website.
