Government Ministers to be questioned on state of UK's Digital Skills

Can the Government deliver a coherent digital strategy to position the UK as a global leader? What more can the Government do to promote the UK’s digital economy? What is the Government doing to ensure a supply of properly trained teachers? How are the digital needs of SMEs and industry being supported by Government?

On Tuesday 18 November two Government Ministers will answer these questions and others before the House of Lords Digital Skills Committee.

  • How can the Government ensure the HE and FE sectors provide the right skills?
  • How are schools delivering the right skills? Are teachers being properly trained?
  • Can we be confident that we have a careers guidance framework that is able to understand the content as well as keep up with technological change?
