Sub-Committee takes evidence from key EU institutions, Ambassadors and commentators

On Monday 27 and Tuesday 28 October, the House of Lords EU External Affairs Sub-Committee will be in Brussels taking evidence from key EU institutions, Ambassadors and commentators as part of its inquiry into the EU and Russia. The Committee will be taking oral evidence until the end of the year. 

During the visit, the Committee will be taking evidence from:

  • Ambassador Vladimir Chizhov, Russian Ambassador to the EU
  • Ambassador Michel Tilemans, Belgian Ambassador to the Political and Security Committee
  • Ambassador Dainius Kamaitis, Lithuanian Ambassador to the Political and Security Committee
  • Mr Alexander Graf Lambsdorff MEP, Chairman of the Executive Committee, European Endowment for Democracy
  • Mr Pedro Serrano, Adviser on External Affairs, Cabinet of the President of the European Council
  • Mr Pierre Vimont, Executive Secretary-General, EEAS
  • Mr Jean-Luc Demarty, Director-General, DG Trade
  • Dr Tom Casier, Jean Monnet Chair, Senior Lecturer in International Relations, University of Kent
  • Dr Josef Janning, Senior Policy Fellow, European Council on Foreign Relations
  • Dr Marat Terterov, Executive Director and cofounder, Brussels Energy Club
