Purpose of the session
This is the first session for the PSHE and SRE inquiry, with one panel focused on the academic evidence for the effect of PSHE and SRE on sexual health and academic attainment, the effect of recent Government actions, and how the effectiveness of SRE should be measured.
A second panel addresses the quality of PSHE and SRE in schools, the ways in which schools interact with parents regarding SRE, and the impact of the current status of the subject.
