Purpose of the Session
This meeting has two purposes. Firstly, the sub-Committee will take evidence on ICAI’s report on DFID’s Contribution to Improving Nutrition, both from ICAI and from DFID. Secondly, the meeting is an opportunity to discuss several topical corporate issues with DFID’s Director General Financial and Corporate Performance. These issues relate to three separate, but linked, issues: ICAI’s transition to its next phase in May 2015; Michael Moore’s 0.7% Bill (which, if passed, would make provision for a new independent body to monitor and evaluate UK aid); and the current recruitment process for ICAI’s new commissioner.
