Purpose of the session

This is the first session for the apprenticeships and traineeships inquiry, with one panel focused on the policy background to the current arrangements for apprentices and the evidence base for reform, and a second panel looking at the operation of apprenticeship schemes from the perspective of employers, training providers and young people.
