The Committee will discuss the findings of research on the experiences of being a councillor with the local government minister and the Local Government Association on Tuesday 21 October

To follow up on its councillors on the frontline inquiry, the Communities and Local Government Committee will invite Professor Colin Copus discuss his findings from a series of workshops held with serving councillors to talk about their experiences as local elected representatives. The Committee will put some of these findings to Kris Hopkins MP, the local government minister and Councillor David Sparks, Chairman of the Local Government Association.
