Purpose of the session
This is the first evidence session on the Committee's inquiry on jobs and livelihoods. The first panel gives the Committee the opportunity to discuss matters with experts on the private sector and job creation such as: the sectors future jobs will come from, where donors should concentrate their work and the importance of the enabling environment. The second panel are representatives from CDC who the Committee will question on changes made since the Committee reported on CDC in 2011 and how these changes are affecting the creation of jobs in the developing world.
