The Science and Technology meeting scheduled for Wednesday 10 September was cancelled. The Committee hope to reschedule the meeting; please continue to check the website for details or contact the Science and Technology team.

As part of the Committee’s ongoing scrutiny of the work of the Government Office for Science, the committee was due to hear from four panels of witnesses on the subjects of science advice, the work of the Government Office for Science and the Triennial review of the research councils.

The second panel was due to consider the 2013-14 Government Office for Science Annual Report with the Government’s Chief Scientific Adviser, Professor Sir Mark Walport.
