Purpose of session

Following up the session on 28 January, the Committee will examine Government officials on the potential impacts of TTIP on environmental regulation in the EU and on trade with developing countries. The session will examine potential harmonisation or mutual recognition of environmental regulations, and the risks surrounding the proposed Investor-State Dispute Settlement regime.
