Purpose of the session
The collapse of City Link resulted in over 2500 job losses across the UK and many of its former employees and contractors have not been paid.
The Committee questions Mr Smith about the way the company was managed and restructured in the time after it was bought by venture capital firm Better Capital for £1 in 2013.
