Local Nature Partnerships inquiry launch

Environmental Audit Committee is undertaking an inquiry into Local Nature Partnerships (LNPs). This follows its inquiry on ‘An Environmental Scorecard’ which identified issues concerning the funding and support for LNP and their relationship with Local Enterprise Partnerships.

The Committee welcomes written evidence on:
- the governance, composition and funding of the LNPs;
- their impact on Nature Improvement Areas, habitats more generally and on the planning system;
- and their links and co-ordination with other environmental and planning organisations and Local Enterprise Partnerships.
Written evidence should be submitted by 25 February 2015, although later submissions would also be accepted.
