About the session
This evidence session will examine progress on improving farming regulation, including implementation of the recommendations of the independent Task Force on farming regulation led by Mr Macdonald.
The Committee last questioned Mr Macdonald in June 2012, in follow up to its inquiry into the Farming Regulation Task Force.

As part of the Committee’s review of its scrutiny of Defra over the course of this Parliament, the Committee is holding one-off evidence sessions with Defra and associated bodies to examine key achievements and challenges of the past five years and priorities for the coming Parliament.
