In the second evidence session of its inquiry into press regulation, the House of Lords Communications Committee will tomorrow question the Independent Press Standards Organisation (IPSO), Alan Rusbridger, Editor of The Guardian, and Bob Satchwell, Executive Director of the Society of Editors.

Mr Rusbridger will be questioned on issues including The Guardian’s position on press regulation in the UK post-Leveson; how it handles complaints from readers; and why it has not joined IPSO.
Mr Satchwell is likely to face questions on areas including the Society of Editors support of IPSO – or otherwise; the most significant recommendations from the Leveson Report for the Society and its members; and how the local press will be impacted.
