Standards Committee question IPSA on its Annual Report

The Committee on Standards will hold a one-off evidence session on the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (IPSA) Annual Report and Accounts for 2014-15.

Purpose of session

Issues to be covered arise from the Annual Report and include:

  • IPSA’s General Elections preparations
  • Initiatives to improve IPSA’s operational efficiency and support for MPs, as highlighted in the Chair’s report
  • Consultations held during the year by IPSA into changes to the MPs’ business costs scheme, procedures for investigation for the Compliance Officer and MPs’ remuneration
