The Defence Committee holds its second oral evidence session for its inquiry on the outcomes of the 2015 Strategic Defence and Security Review for the Army.

Purpose of the session

Areas the Committee seeks to examine:

  • Progress in the delivery of the Army 2020 programme
  • Progress in the implementation of the recommendations of the 2011 Independent Reserves Commission and the Reserve elements of the Army 2020 plan
  • The recruitment and training of Reservists
  • Personnel matters affecting Reservists
