The Communities and Local Government Committee questions senior representatives of several of the UK's biggest housing developers as part of its inquiry into the capacity in the homebuilding industry.

Purpose of the session
The session focuses on whether the industry is capable of building the number of homes needed to meet demand, what the industry and government can do to speed up construction rates, and allegations of landbanking by developers.
The committee also looks into the industry's shortage of skilled workers and the potential effects of Brexit on homebuilding.
