Purpose of the session
The witnesses are questioned on the Government's target of building one million homes by 2020, the issue of land banking and the decline in the number of SME (small and medium-sized enterprise) builders in the UK.
The Committee also explores whether the workforce has the necessary skills to support the industry as well as the impact of the EU Referendum result on homebuilding.
