Purpose of the session
The session focuses on how non-volume homebuilders, such as SMEs and custom builders, can play a role in addressing the country's housing demand. The Committee hopes to better understand the private and public sector barriers to success for these companies, including access to financing and land and the planning process.
The Committee also asks about the development processes for non-traditional builders and whether current Government policies are doing enough to support non-volume homebuilders.
