Clive Betts, Chair of the Communities and Local Government Committee, leads a debate in Westminster Hall on the Committee's report on litter and fly-tipping and the Government's response to the Committee report at 1.30pm on Thursday 25 February 2016.

Background

The Committee's report published in March 2015 examined the problems that litter and fly-tipping create for local communities; the effectiveness of those responsible for managing waste; the statutory, regulatory and guidance framework; and the role of private citizens and campaign and action groups in tackling litter.

The Government response to the report was received in December 2015.
