The Minister of State gives further evidence to the Energy and Climate Change Committee on the impact of Government policy on confidence in the energy sector.

Purpose of session

This session explores a number of themes arising from the Committee's report on Investor Confidence in the UK energy sector, including:

  • Impact of Government policy on confidence in the energy sector
  • Levels of investment in new and existing projects
  • Support for energy projects (e.g. Contracts-for-Difference and the Levy Control Framework)
