Care Quality Commission accountability call for evidence

The Health Committee expects to hold an accountability hearing with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in December 2016. The hearing follows the regular series of accountability hearings held by the Committee in the last Parliament, and the reports on the CQC by the National Audit Office in July 2015 and the Committee of Public Accounts in December 2015.
Submissions
The Committee welcomes submissions on all aspects of the work of the Care Quality Commission, but please note that the Committee does not consider individual cases and will not be pursuing matters on behalf of individuals.
Deadline for submissions
Written submissions of no more than 2500 words on the work of the CQC are invited by Friday 18 November 2016. The date of the hearing will be confirmed in due course.
