Purpose of the session

The Committee explores:

  • the reciprocal healthcare arrangements that exist between EU member states and assess if these should be redesigned or maintained once the UK has left the EU
  • the NHS and adult social care's use of staff drawn from the EU and examine the extent to which health and social care is reliant on this workforce
