The Committees' inquiry examined the role of education in promoting emotional wellbeing and preventing the development of mental health problems in children and young people. The Committees investigated how educational settings support prevention and early intervention, and also addressed support for young people with mental health problems, how teachers and other professionals are trained and educated about these issues, and the role and impact of social media and the internet.
