A new online submission system for petitions

Following changes to the House of Commons Standing Orders for Private Business in the autumn, it will be possible to submit your petition online when the petitioning period begins.
Object to the Bill
For the Phase 1 Bill, petitioners were required previously to submit their petitions in person at the House of Commons, many travelling great distances to do so. This time there will be a new online system for submitting your petition.
The new online system will be available here from the start of the petitioning period, and will provide a fast and secure means of submitting your petition. However, for those who wish, it will still be possible to submit your petition in person as well as by post.
