Petitioning against HS2 Phase 2a now open

Following the Second Reading debate for the High Speed Rail (West Midlands – Crewe) Bill petitioning against the Bill is now open.

Individuals and organisations directly and specially affected by the Bill now have the opportunity to petition against the Bill and to request alterations.

The petitions will be considered by the Committee, which will be set up shortly. The Committee is expected to conduct its hearings over the course of 2018, starting in the spring.

The petitioning window is open until 5pm on Monday 26 February 2018. See the petitioning guidance for further information on the petitioning process.
