Petitioning against HS2 Phase 2a expected to start on 31 January

The second reading of the High Speed Rail (West Midlands – Crewe) Bill takes place on Tuesday 30 January.

If MPs vote in favour of the Bill, individuals and organisations directly and specially affected by the Bill will have the opportunity to petition against the Bill, and for those petitions to be considered by the Select Committee. The petitioning window will be open from the evening of 30 January.
