On Thursday 5 November, the House of Lords Select Committee on National Policy for the Built Environment focuses its inquiry on planning policy, skills and education.

  • How would a Chief Built Environment Adviser (or other advisers with specific remits on built environment matters) help to deliver better outcomes at a national level?
  • What initiatives are needed, at a national level, to promote the importance of resilience and sustainability in new buildings?
