Equality and Human Rights Commission gives evidence to Committee

On Tuesday 21 July, the Select Committee on the Equality Act 2010 and Disability hears from three representatives of the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) on the implementation and enforcement of the Equality Act 2010.

The EHRC has duties to promote, monitor, enforce and keep the Act under review.

  • the effectiveness of the EHRC and its relationship with the Government
  • the involvement of disabled people in the work of the Commission.
