The Committee investigating the Licensing Act takes evidence from Sainsbury's, Waitrose and Ocado on issues including pre-loading, super-strength alcohol and online ordering. In a second session representatives from the Working Men's Club and Institute Union, the Association of London Clubs and Emms Gilmore Liberson Solicitors also give evidence.

  • Is the licensing system working for private members clubs?
  • How well do Temporary Events Notices work?
  • Is the system flexible enough for clubs?
