The Political Polling and Digital Media Committee takes evidence from broadcasting experts and on-line media platforms to explore the reporting of opinions polls and how accurate they are.

Areas of discussion

The Committee asks witnesses about the challenges journalists face in reporting opinion polls accurately and the potential impact of inaccurate reporting on election campaigns. The Committee will also investigate the impact and accuracy of polls commissioned by advocacy groups and how the media report those.
