World Humanitarian Summit attended by Committee Chairman

From 23-24 May, the Chairman of the Sexual Violence in Conflict Committee, Baroness Nicholson of Winterbourne, attends the World Humanitarian Summit in Istanbul.

The Summit, organised by the United Nations Secretary-General, is an opportunity to raise the conclusions and recommendations of the Committee's Report, Sexual Violence in Conflict: A War Crime.
About the Committee
The Sexual Violence in Conflict Committee was appointed on 11 June 2015, "to consider the UK's policy and practice of preventing sexual violence in conflict". The Committee published their report on 12 April 2016.
