Parliament for Researchers: exploring select committee evidence

This training session explores how select committees use research findings and expertise as evidence, and how you as a researcher can engage.  It also covers the role of committee specialist advisors.

This training session is aimed at academic researchers and focuses on practical information and advice.  The chair is Naomi Saint, Knowledge Exchange Manager, UK Parliament.  The expert speakers are George James (Committee Specialist, Northern Ireland Affairs Committee, House of Commons), Alex McMillan (Committee Clerk, House of Lords) and Janet Veitch (Specialist Adviser, Women and Equalities Committee, House of Commons).
