1. Review of Management of House of Commons Service
The Commission agreed that the review would be led by Sir Kevin Tebbit, supported by a small group of officials. Sir Kevin would report directly to the Commission from time to time. The review would be announced by Mr Harvey in the debate in Westminster Hall on Thursday 19 October, with a written answer published at the same time and a message to staff.
2. Visitor Reception Building
The Commission agreed that the work should be finished completely before the building is opened.
3. Works Costs of September Sittings
The Commission agreed to publish information on the works and other costs of September sittings, together with information on the business taken at such sittings in 2003 and 2004, in the form of a written answer in time for a debate at the start of November.
4. Future Meetings
The next meeting would be held on Monday 6 November instead of 13 November. The Commission agreed to meet on Monday 29 January and Monday 12 March 2007.
