1. FoI UPDATE (MEC)
The Committee discussed the proposed template for publishing information on Members' allowances in future and agreed to consider a revised version at a future meeting.
2. REVIEW OF ALLOWANCES (MEC)
The Committee discussed the principles, issued by the Committee on Standards in Public Life, on the review of allowances and agreed that the final report should take account of the seven Nolan principles.
3. TEBBIT REVIEW IMPLEMENTATION (Commission)
The Commission heard an oral report from the Chief Executive on progress in implementing the Tebbit review, considered a paper setting out actions required and taken in relation to each recommendation and took note with approval.
4. NEXT MEETING
The next meeting of the Commission/MEC will take place on Monday 19 May 2008 at 5pm in Speaker's House.
