Delivery Report for new Independent Complaints and Grievance Scheme published.

Today [17 July 2018] the Independent Complaints and Grievance Policy (ICGP) Programme published its Delivery Report (pdf 1.5MB) (pdf 1.5MB) (pdf 1.5MB) (pdf 1.5MB), which outlines the proposed Behaviour Code for Parliament, and the new policies and procedures designed to tackle bullying, harassment and sexual misconduct at Westminster.

The proposals for the new scheme will be presented to the House of Commons by the Leader of the House for debate this Thursday [19 July].

The House of Commons Commission has agreed, in consultation with the TUS, that the new policies and procedures will apply to staff of the House Service and the Parliamentary Digital Service, should they be adopted by the House.

The Lords Commission has already endorsed the new Code and has asked the Sub-Committee on Lords' Conduct to investigate how the new policies might be integrated with their current procedures.
