The Place
What sets us apart from most other workplaces is, well, the workplace. Just check out the Palace of Westminster. Even though it's having a bit of a facelift at the moment and we'll be moving out for a few years in the 2020s, it's still a magnificent place to work.
You can watch the action in the House of Lords chamber and maybe even sit there yourself for an All-Staff Meeting. You can listen to and watch House of Lords Committee debates in person as well as on Parliament TV, live or on catch-up and you can explore the nooks and crannies of this spectacular UNESCO World Heritage site as you find your way around, even if you're based in one of our other buildings close by on the Parliamentary Estate.
We are a short walking distance from Westminster (5 mins) and Victoria Station tube stations, close to St James' Park (10 mins), Waterloo station (15 mins) and Hyde Park (20 mins). We also have Victoria Tower Gardens on our doorstep and the Embankment just along the river for those lunchtime walks, jogs or just peace and quiet in beautiful scenery.
